Blog Number 4 (and they just keep getting better)

Okay, so maybe Prodi didn't win? Sure he did, but Italian politics is never altogether straightforward. Sorry to disappoint you, Ray, but you can start following Nigerian politics, where the current prez is getting the Constitution changed so he can run for a third term. Only the trouble with Nigerian politics is, unlike Italian, people actually get killed. Who was it who said, "Politics ain't beanbag." Ken, I'll bet you know.

Gail took a cool picture of me while she was hear, but I haven't had time to upload it.

Okay, I'm supposed to have an opinion on something. Today's opinion is, reacting to NY Times, that the Dems should not pile on Ted Kennedy just because he's trying to work out something on immigration reform. He's been consistent on this forever, and there's no way the far right (jail 'em all) or the far left (version 1, let 'em all in; version 2, don't let any in 'cause they take our jobs) are going to win. So come on, folks, let's reason together. Good for you, Teddy!

Everyone go pet the nearest dog now (Ray, you may have to go outside and find one, but you KNOW there's a Bernese Mtn. Dog on campus somewhere.

Italian politics may be conflicted, but they did capture the mafia "boss of bosses." Will the world be safer?

Ted Kennedy may be going mellow.

I petted lots of dogs at the animal shelter today.

Well, as far as Nigeria, at least the current president is doing it and not the former dictator. I don't get the beanbag quote though.

And, for the record, Ms. English Major's getting a little sloppy:
"Gail took a cool picture of me while she was hear"

Tsk tsk.
